The Training Division is dedicated to providing our Law Enforcement, Corrections and Communications positions with the best training available.   Training is an investment based on the premise that the way one trains is the way he/she will perform. The agency provides all of the training mandated by the State of Florida, as well as a myriad of career enhancing courses to all of its employees. We pride ourselves in providing the latest and most relevant training to all our employees. The Training Staff maintain their certifications and are responsible for facilitating and coordinating training to all agency employees, both sworn and civilian. The Training Staff networks with other local, federal law enforcement agencies and the Florida Sheriff's Association (FSA) to bring valuable and practical training opportunities to the agency.
