Today Sheriff James F. Potter and the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office celebrated the retirement of our Detention Bureau Commander, Captain Brian Harris. Brian selflessly served under four Sheriff’s and the great citizens of DeSoto County. During his dedicated 25 year career Brian climbed the ranks from Deputy all the way to Captain, which is no easy task. We are all extremely happy and excited and wish him the very best with his future ventures.
Thank you Captain Harris for all the years of service, we will miss you!
