Today, Sunday April 11, 2021, is the first day of National Dispatcher Appreciation Week, which runs 4/11-17/2021!
This is a significantly important week as staff with the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office gives thanks and show our appreciation to the brave women and men of our Telecommunications Division!
Without these behind-the-scene heroes, our First Responders would not have the lifeline and support which keeps them surviving. DCSO dispatchers are a critical part of the DCSO Team and more importantly they are the calm, cool, and trained voice of every emergency call for service received by the Sheriff’s Office, and for that, we truly thank
